Today, and in spite of the appearance of new construction materials which modern technology has placed at the disposal of construction companies, stone is still at the top of the list of the materials which make a building noble and long-lasting. Loyal to this spirit, and twenty years ago now, Compañía Ibérica de Granitos, Sociedad Anónima (COIGRASA) was created as a workshop for traditional stonework. At a time in which stonework in Galicia was almost a thing of the past, COIGRASA was created in order to meet the needs of many who, when imagining a new building, be it a house or an institutional building, wanted to return to the construction of times gone by which will be architectural references today, tomorrow and forever in any city.
